Course Description:

This session will discuss strategies for the Rehabilitation Services Department leader to facilitate systems and processes to achieve and maintain a Thriving Therapy Department.   Topics will includes managing the physical department and equipment, integrating effective therapy clinical programs to drive facility Quality Measures promoting reimbursement accuracy, key training considerations for rehab, productivity and efficiency, effective facility meetings and interdepartmental communication, and  facilitating safe discharge transitions.

1. Describe key systems oversight strategies
2. Identify potential quality and compliance risks for LTC therapy departments
3. Prioritize actions to address department vulnerabilities through strategic auditing and monitoring systems
