Course Description:

Research shows that 68-72% of a Life Enrichment Director's time is spend on documentation.  Few, if any Life Enrichnebt professionals accepted the position with a full understanding of the importance of good documentation.  Most professionals accepted the position to provide residents with meaningful things to do.  This presentation will provide an outline to Life Enrichment professionals to provide tips to effective and professional documentation for the role of Life Enrichment Professionals.

Learning Objectives

  1. Participants will understand the purposes and benefits of effective and professional documentation of the life enrichment programming provided to residents
  2. Participants will understand key principles of effective and professional documentation of Life Enrichment programming
  3. Participants will understand when documentation is required and the contents of professional Life Enrichment documentation.

Nurses:  The Kansas Healthcare Association is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by the Kansas State Board of Nursing.  This offering is approved for 1.0 contact hour applicable for RN and LPN relicensure (KSBN LT0030-0338)
